1 Thessalonians 4:14 - so what does it have to do with a tree? I could come up with some words about how this tree symbolizes Christ rising again or the tree points to Heaven or how Christ shelters us from evil....but I just got this image this week.... and it was on my counter when I was reading this scripture.... and I was too lazy to get up... and that is also how the chicken wire stencil ended up here as well (and why it is on a bunch of my projects this past few weeks - lol).
Any way, it doesn't look too out of place so I am posting it. What a lovely scripture and a promise we can all take root in! A promise of eternity with our Creator. Wow!
This month's BAJ challenge is eternity - we would love to have you join us!!! You can find us in the forum, under challenges, then faith based challenges, then Bible Art Journaling.

Oh, I am so glad I saw this today! It is just what I needed to see Nancy so thank you for posting this! Your handwriting is absolutely gorgeous and does so much justice to this beautiful scripture. Your sponging is so beautiful and draws your eye right to this lovely tree that goes perfectly with this verse. The sponging reminds me of foot prints! Bless you! ~Karen.

Nancy, I love your Bible verse and creation. I love how you hand journaled on it and stamped the tree and used the stencil. I know what you mean about too lazy to get up, but you did good girlzi!

I have never heard of Bible journaling, but one look at your beautiful backgrounds, and your thoughtful and inspiring comments make it come to life.
Thanks for choosing my Fly Away card as one of the favorites for the week. I'm really honored. This comes at a perfect time because I've been feeling very uninspired lately, and now my enthusiasm has returned. Thanks again!
